Eine weibliche Figur nimmt „Im Lichtkegel“ das Bildzentrum ein. In ihrer linken Hand hält sie eine Peitsche. Sowohl das Kostüm als auch der Hintergrund suggerieren eine Manege – die weibliche Figur bekommt Züge eines Zirkusdirektors.
Die zurückgenommenen, hellen Pastelltöne und die Farbe weiß sind in den Werken Camaros in den 1970er Jahren dominierend.
Das Gemälde wird in der derzeitigen Ausstellung „abstraktion-figuration / werner berges und alexander camaro“ im Camaro Haus gezeigt, welche wir bis zum 23.02.2023 verlängern!

A female figure occupies the centre of the painting „in the cone of light“. In her left hand she holds a whip. Both, the costume and the background, suggest an arena with that the figure assume features of a circus director.
The light pastel tones as well the white color dominate Camaro´s work in the 1970s.
Our #weeklycamaro #34 is shown in the current exhibition „abstraction-figuration / werner berges and alexander camaro“ in the Camaro House – which is extending until 23.02.2023.
