Unser #weeklycamaro #1 ist Camaros „Schaubudenmädchen“ von 1949. Das puppenhafte Mädchen ohne Unterleib – ein Motiv der Vergnügungsparks der Belle Epoque – findet sich häufig in Camaros Werk, oft mit einer doppelbödigen Moral. Wie in der Programmnummer „Die Dame ohne Unterleib“ des Künstlerkabaretts *Die Badewanne*, das Camaro 1949 mitbegründete: Dort schreit das Mädchen dem habgierigen Budenbesitzer ihren Hass entgegen – als emanzipierter Akt der Befreiung.

Our #weeklycamaro #1 is Camaro’s “show booth girl” from 1949. The doll-like girl without abdomen – a characteristic motif of the amusement parks of the Belle Epoque – is often found in Camaro’s work, most of the time with ambiguous morals. As in the program number „The Lady without Abdomen“ of the artists‘ cabaret *The Bathtub*, which Camaro co-founded in 1949: There the girl screams her hatred towards the greedy stall owner – as an emancipated act of liberation.
