Unser #weeklycamaro #49 entstand zu einer Zeit, als Alexander Camaro bereits als Professor Zeichnen, Malerei und Komposition an der HfBK (heute UDK) lehrte.
Das Gemälde gehört zu einer Reihe an abstrahierten Gemälden der 1950er Jahre. Camaro malte auf dem Stimmungsbild „Oktober“ einen Rahmen in Braun- und Orangetönen. Innerhalb dieses Rahmens zeigt sich vor einem braun-grauen Hintergrund ein Spiel von wenigen Farben und Lineamenten. Das Wechselspiel von Bewegung und Flüchtigkeit mit definierbaren Formen, die Farbwahl sowie der Pinselduktus, schaffen eine herbstliche Atmosphäre.

Our #weeklycamaro #49 was created at a time when Alexander Camaro was already teaching drawing, painting and composition as professor at the HfBK (now UDK).
The painting belongs to a series of abstracted paintings from the 1950s.
On the atmospheric art work entitled “October“ Camaro painted a frame in brown and orange colors. Within this frame, an arrangement of a few colors and lines appears against a brown-grey background.
